ASM Presentation: Archaeometallurgy: Ancient Copper Working in the Upper Great Lakes

The Detroit chapter of the American Society for Materials (ASM) hosted a free, online presentation by Ph.D. Candidate by Ryan E. Peterson: Archaeometallurgy of the Ancient Copper Working Cultures in the Great Lakes on Monday, 2/7/2022, from 7:00-8:30 PM. Mr. Peterson provided an overview of 10,000 years of metal use in the Great Lakes region, accompanied by a live demonstration of copper working techniques and tools. Ryan Edward Peterson is a Ph.D. candidate in Anthropology at Indiana University.
